Milos Teodosic:
I See De Colo More Than His Family Does

CSKA guard Milos Teodosic took over the Monday showdown vs. Lokomotiv-Kuban. The Serbian point guard was everywhere on the court: drilling 3's, setting up teammates and snagging rebounds. Named Week Seven MVP for his efforts, Teodosic recorded 22 points, five assists and four rebounds along with a 29 efficiency rating. This coming Monday, CSKA and Teodosic face another test as they battle 5-1 UNICS at home.

In his interview, Teodosic admitted that he had to play hurt against Loko, described what it's like to play with teammate Nando De Colo and explained that CSKA will have to play unselfish basketball if it wants to stop Keith Langford and UNICS.

- Loko has defeated CSKA several times in recent years and signed CSKA nemesis Georgios Bartsokas as head coach during the offseason. Were you worried about this game or did you feel confident you could beat Krasnodar?
- I don't think many players can guarantee what's going to happen in a game. I'm no different. All I can say is that we prepared hard for the game and really wanted to win.

- Prior to the game, info got out that you were nursing a slight injury. You still went out and scored 22 points to lead CSKA to the win...
- Yeah, I twisted my ankle on Saturday in practice and Dimitris Itoudis was worried about my physical condition. I told him that I was ready to play and the doctors did everything they could to make me comfortable. Coach decided to include me on the roster, but he only told me at the morning practice on game day.

- You were very clutch on the court. When's the last time you got nervous before a game or a big shot?
- I'm sure you know very well that I'm not known for always hitting big shots. I'm really intense on the court, although I try to control my emotions. But I don't think my emotions affects the quality of my play. I'm a professional; I've played for a long time and I don't think much about my feelings before a game or individual shot.

- You hit four of four 3-pointers against Lokomotiv-Kuban and are connecting at a 44% clip from downtown so far this season. What do you do in practice to get better?
- I don't think there's a secret. It's important to know the fundamentals and do a lot of repetitions.

- What's it like playing with Nando De Colo? How quickly did you guys get comfortable playing together?
- We always emphasize teamwork. During every play, there are lots of options for continuing the possession. You just have to choose the right direction. Nando is truly a great player. He's playing very well for the second year in a row and I'm really happy that we're able to get a lot done together on the court. You don't need much time to get comfortable playing with him. Of course, there are times when we don't completely understand each other and make mistakes. We're not robots.

- Do you hang out with Nando off the court?
- We've got a bunch of great guys on the team and we get along really well off the court. But we don't get together as much as we might like. Because of the games, practices and travel we don't have much free time and everyone tries to spend as much of it as possible with family or simply relaxing. But I think I see De Colo more than his girlfriend or daughter.

- You play another contender on Monday, UNICS. How are preparations coming along?
- I think the coaches are already breaking down UNICS and getting stuff ready for us, but for now the team is focused on preparing for Friday's game against Unicaja in the Euroleague.

- Kazan leader Keith Langford is playing extremely well. Have you kept up with what he's doing? What do you need to do to stop him?
- I wouldn't say that I follow the league's team and individual stats that closely. Each of us will have individual instructions on defense, but overall we defend together. I'm sure the coaches will tell us how we can stop Langford and the rest of his team.
