In the 2011/2012 season, Andrey Rud (Belarus) claimed the grand prize, an iMac computer from League sponsor Asteros. Five more contestants won iPad 3 tablets: Alexander Pilkov (Moscow), Saulius Laurinaitis and Saulius Morozovas (Kaunas), Dmitriy Khodirev (Pushkino) and Konstantin Teengaev (Perm).
In the 2012/13 season, during the playoff finals in Moscow, Georgi Nistratov from Kazan won the grand prize – a high-quality MacBook Air. Four more fans that finished in the Prediction Contest’s Top 5 (Andrei Kyubyshev and Vladimir Dunaev from Moscow, Valery Dudarenko from Nevel and Dmitrii Luksha from Vilnius) won iPad mini tablets! Plus, the Prediction Contest was held during the VTB United League Playoffs for the first time ever. Three fans won brand souvenirs and gifts from the League, while the top contestant – Aleksandr Venediktov from Moscow – won an additional prize – a basketball autographed by CSKA’s entire championship team.
Kaunas basketball fan Valentas Slaustas won the contest in 2013/14 season. He took first place in a shooting contest during halftime of Game 2 between CSKA and Nizhny Novgorod to capture the grand prize, a high-quality MacBook Air! Another four fans, who also finished in the top five during the regular season (Kornelius Paluckas of Klaipeda, Vadim Vlasenko of Kiev, Aleksandr Sushkov of Donetsk and Aleksei Antonov of Kazan), won iPad minis! In addition, the Prediction Contest was held for the second time during the VTB United League playoffs. Three fans won authentic souvenirs and valuable gifts from the League, while the first-place finisher, Aleksandr Ivaschenko of Brest, picked up one more exciting prize: A basketball autographed by each member of CSKA's championship team.
Natalia Glinchak from Ukraine was a 1st-time winner in the Prediction Contest this season. Though she was the only woman at the contest final, she was the only one to knock down a free throw during halftime of Game 2 between CSKA and Khimki to win the grand prize, a Samsung Galaxy Tab!
The other six finalists - Ivan Kisilev (Moscow, Russia), Alexander Ivashchenko (Brest, Belarus), Vadim Zadorozhny (Kovrov, Russia), Sergei Glinchak (Shostka, Ukraine), Alexander Sushkov (Donetsk, Ukraine) and Arturas Pribusauskas (Panevezis, Lithuania) - did not go home empty-handed, receiving Jawbone UP fitness bands.
The 3rd-ever VTB United League Prediction Contest playoff edition was won by Ekaterina Migacheva of Saratov, who won a basketball autographed by each member of CSKA’s championship team.
