Victor Rudd Wins March MVP

Nizhny Novgorod forward Victor Rudd has been named the VTB United League March MVP.

The VTB United League and Sport-Express use the following factors when selecting the MVP: player efficiency rating, expert rankings and the VTB-League.com fan vote.

Rudd finished with 8 points in the ranking, beating out Avtodor guard Paul Stoll (5 points) and Lokomotiv-Kuban guard Malcolm Delaney (4 points).

Rudd led Nizhny Novgorod to a 4-1 record in March, including wins at home over Lokomotiv-Kuban and UNICS, and helped his team clinch a spot in the postseason.

Rudd dominated opposing defenses, averaging 20.4 points and 4.2 assists, to go with an impressive 9.4 rebounds per game. He finished the month with a 23.8 efficiency rating. The American big man was most effective against elite competition, scoring 22 and 21 points, respectively, vs. Loko and UNICS, while averaging 51% from the field.

Joining Rudd on the VTB United League All-March team, as selected by VTB United League and Sport-Express experts, are Kalev center Shawn King, Avtodor guard Paul Stoll, UNICS guard Keith Langford and CSKA guard Nando De Colo.
