Tomas Pacesas Guides Lietuvos Rytas To Lithuanian Cup Win

Well-known Lithuanian coach Tomas Pacesas, who spent four years as executive director of the VTB United League before taking over at Lietuvos Rytas this season, has won his first trophy with the club. Pacesas and Lietuvos Rytas captured the Lithuanian Cup, defeating archrival Zalgiris in the final, 67-57.

This is Lietuvos Rytas's first championship since 2010. Prior to Pacesas's arrival, the Lithuanian powerhouse had endured a five-year title drought.
