Schedule Released, Includes Inaugural All-Star Game

The VTB United League has released the 2016-17 regular season schedule. The campaign opens on October 2, 2016 and concludes on April 23, 2017.

The schedule features a true round-robin format, with each club playing home and away against each opponent in the league.

Changes could be made to the schedule due to club participation in European cup tournaments.

The league will also host its first-ever All-Star Game, scheduled for February 14, 2017.

- European and world basketball stars compete in the VTB United League, - noted general director Ilona Korstin. - The All-Star Game will help popularize basketball and the League as well as help our competition reach its full potential. In addition, 14 clubs will compete in the upcoming season, leading to fewer games, which is why, after coordinating with the clubs, we were able to find the best possible date to hold this event. From our end, the League will do everything it can to make the All-Star Game an exciting, entertaining event for fans and sponsors.
