Ryan Toolson Wins October MVP

Zenit guard Ryan Toolson has been named the VTB United League October MVP.

The VTB United League and Sport-Express use the following factors when selecting the MVP: player efficiency rating, expert rankings and the VTB-League.com fan vote.

Ryan Toolson finished with nine points, beating out Tsmoki-Minsk center Garrett Stutz (eight points) and CSKA guard Nando De Colo (six points).

Zenit played four games in October, defeating Enisey, Krasny Oktyabr, VEF and Tsmoki-Minsk, to remain the league's only undefeated team. Toolson led the way for St. Petersburg, averaging 19.8 points, 6.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals and a 22.0 efficiency rating in October.

Joining Toolson on the VTB United League All-October team, as selected by VTB United League and Sport-Express experts, are center Garrett Stutz (Tsmoki-Minsk), guard Nando De Colo (CSKA), guard Keith Langford (UNICS), and guard Maxim Grigoryev (Nizhny Novgorod).
