Ryan Toolson Wins Fan MVP Vote
Zenit guard Ryan Toolson has been named the VTB United League regular season MVP by the fans.
MVP voting concluded yesterday at 2:00 PM Moscow Time on a special VTB-League.com page.
Toolson ended up with 36% of the vote, edging out Lokomotiv-Kuban's Anthony Randolph (31%). Avtodor forward Travis Peterson came in 3rd with 9%.
Toolson played in 28 games during the regular season, averaging 17.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and a 17.4 efficiency rating. He also led Zenit to a top-3 finish in the standings and picked up October and April MVP honors from the league.
The results of the fan vote will be factored into the official selection of the 2015-16 VTB United League regular season MVP, which is determined jointly by the league and Sport-Express.
