Nymburk Keeps Streaking
Nymburk overcame Tsmoki-Minsk on the road on Sunday night, 93-84. The game was even for 30 minutes before the visitors pulled away in the 4th quarter to secure a 4th-straight victory.

The league's two biggest surprises to start the season--Tsmoki-Minsk and Nymburk--met in Minsk for Sunday's showdown. Despite success for both clubs in the first month of the season, this game offered Nymburk a chance to win its first game on the road and Tsmoki--a first win at home.
Neither team could gain an advantage until Howard Sant-Roos knocked down a '3' midway through the 1st quarter, sparking a 7-0 run that put Nymburk in front, 22-14. The visitors maintained the advantage the rest of the first half, leading by as much as nine. At halftime, the score was 49-43 in favor of Nymburk.
The lead increased to 11 points midway through the 3rd quarter before a 9-0 run got Tsmoki-Minsk back in the game. Ivan Maras's jumper late in the period even briefly put the home team on top.
Unfortunately for the home fans, Minsk would not score over the first 3:19 of the 4th quarter, allowing the visitors to secure a 10-point advantage, 81-71. This time, there would be no comeback. Nymburk closed out the win, 93-84, improving to 6-1 to further tighten its grip on 2nd place.
Star of the Game
Vojtech Hruban. The Czech forward has enjoyed a terrific start to the season and put on another excellent performance against Tsmoki-Minsk. Hruban played 36 minutes, posting 19 points, five rebounds and four assists.
