Miss Cheerleader League Of Beauty Finals In Moscow!

The final round of the 2016 Miss Cheerleader contest will be held on Friday in Moscow during halftime of the CSKA - UNICS playoff finals game.

Six stunning cheerleaders--Maria Sharafetdinova and Julia Khrunina (both CSKA), Anna Pakalina (Lokomotiv-Kuban), Polina Bezmogorychnaya (Krasny Oktyabr), Julia Skshinetskaya (Tsmoki-Minsk) and Liga Saleniece (VEF)--will perform for fans at the USH CSKA and decide who is crowned the 2016 VTB United League Miss Cheerleader.

The winner of the contest will receive a valuable prize as well as the Miss Cheerleader crown. The other finalists will also earn special prizes.

The Miss Cheerleader League Of Beauty is in its 4th season. This year's competition featured 30 girls from each of the league's dance teams. Five preliminary round winners (determined by an online fan vote), as well as one wild card (Liga Saleniece), received invitations to the playoff finals.

The first-ever VTB United League Miss Cheerleader contest was held in 2013, with Veronika Teplyakova of Tsmoki-Minsk winning the crown. Giedre Abromaviciute of Lietuvos Rytas won two seasons ago, while Alena Valieva of Zenit is the reigning champion.
