Dmitry Stroev Wins Leopard Shot Contest

Kirov fan Dmitry Stroev won the Leopard Shot contest, organized by the VTB United League and Far Eastern Leopards charity during the playoffs.

The results of the contest were revealed during Game 2 of the CSKA - UNICS finals. Dmitry Stroev took home 1st place for this trick shot, beating out Mikhail Baulin of St. Petersburg and Alexey Kuznetsov of Moscow. Stroev receives an all-expenses paid trip to the Leopard Land wildlife park where he will get to visit the league's mascot, Buba the Leopard. VTB United League honorary president Sergey Ivanov presented Stroev with his prize.

- I think that the leopard is the most basketball-like animal. The incredible videos sent in by our fans are confirmation of that, - noted Ivanov. - These shots are very impressive. The winner of the Leopard Shot earned his prize: A trip to Vladivostok, where these amazing wild animals live, including the league's very own Buba the Leopard!
