Lokomotiv-Kuban defeated Kalev in Tallinn, 89-71. The game was decided in the 3rd quarter when Krasnodar turned a six-point deficit into a 12-point lead, led by Victor Claver and Anthony Randolph.

Krasnodar's trademark defense dominated in the opening minutes. The visitors rolled to an 11-0 start, holding Kalev scoreless for four minutes. The home team, however, got back in the game thanks to 3-point shooting and Josh Boone's interior offense.

Three 3-pointers from Erik Keedus and Rain Veideman to open the 2nd quarter gave Kalev its first lead. By halftime, Tallinn had built a six-point advantage, 47-41, slicing open Krasnodar's defense for 29 points in the period.

Kalev's perimeter shooting went ice-cold in the second half. After going 5-8 in the 2nd quarter, the home team missed all four attempts in the 3rd quarter. Kalev only scored 10 points in the period and gave up 28, trailing 69-57 entering the final period.
