Quotes
Tsmoki-Minsk head coach Igor Grishchuk:
- Congratulations to VEF. Our opponent demonstrated its toughness and didn't give up until the final horn. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same resolve today. It's an upsetting loss. But we have to learn from it, move forward and get stronger.
VEF head coach Janis Gailitis:
- This was a very tough game, in which we were ultimately a little luckier. Nonetheless, I think it's a fair outcome. Prior to this game, we had lost several times in the final minutes. I'm grateful to my guys for their resilience. Even when we trailed by 10, they didn't fall apart and managed to turn things around. Our final play was drawn up for Cruz, since he has a lot of experience in these types of end-game situations.
