Perimeter shooting and solid play from D.J. Kennedy helped the home team take an early lead. VEF responded with a 12-0 run led by Francisco Cruz, surging ahead, 19-15.

The perimeter shooting cooled off in the 3rd quarter, but the home team never let VEF threaten. His team responded well to the changes, pushing the lead to 44 at the end of three quarters.

Quotes
Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov:
- First of all, I want to thank the guys for their effort. We had a few problems in the 1st quarter because our opponent was aggressive on the glass. By halftime, everything was basically decided, but we haven't forgotten what's happened in the past, which is why we were very focused in the second half.

VEF head coach Janis Gailitis:
- This was a tough game and a tough day, overall. Plus, we lost a player and lost the game.
