Ivan Viktorov Wins Young Player Of The Month

Nizhny Novgorod guard Ivan Viktorov has been named the VTB United League's October Young Player of the Month.

For the 4th straight year, the VTB United League will recognize the league's Young Player of the Year, awarded to a player born in 1993 or later.

The league will also name a monthly winner and Top 3, with those results to impact the selection of the Young Player of the Year.

Nizhny Novgorod guard Ivan Viktorov takes home the honor in October. The 20-year-old Russian played in three games in October, including a huge performance vs. CSKA. Viktorov scored 16 points in the upset victory, also posting a team-high 19 efficiency rating to go with two rebounds, two steals and one assist. Joining Viktorov in the Top 3 are Vita guard Pierria Henry and VEF guard Ludwig Hakanson.
